Foundations in Sacred Scripture
In Year Two you will encounter God’s loving plan of salvation as we find it in Sacred Scripture and the history of the Church. During this semester you will learn about the importance of the Bible in the life of the Christian and about the overarching story that runs throughout the Bible. Along the way you’ll meet the great figures of salvation history, and experience the pivotal moments where God “worked His plan”. The hope is through it all you will see the incredible beauty and artistry of God’s plan and your own place within it.
Content
Each week you will watch 60-90 minutes of video presentations. Additional handouts and homework may also be assigned.
Class
You will attend class virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm CT. Class is an hour and includes content review and small groups.
Scripture
You will be encouraged to make time to read scripture, encountering God's love for you in his great plan of salvation.
